Beauty Works

The Beauty Works haircare range has been created over the past 10 years with several designers having worked on it. Each product that launches has a new design.

The range has now grown much larger and to ensure it continues to look consistent and professional for salon and personal use I redesigned all the packaging so that they all work well together.

I created icons for each product to differentiate between the different ranges and added to each bottle to create a more uniform and professional looking collection.

Beauty Works

The brief was to create a brand for a collaboration with Molly-Mae. The brand would start with a logo and one product but needed to have potential to add more products to the range.

The clients only request was that she wanted the logo to be pink and this to be incorporated into the packaging.

She has a young fan base and so she wanted the product to be cute and feminine. There are now 3 products in the collection all following the original brand style.

 MARKETING MATERIAL

Beauty Works

The brief was to create a brochure in any format that allowed large amounts of text to work well alongside images.

I had to ensure that the images were a focal point and were not secondary to the text. The brochure needed to look luxury but contain a lot of necessary information regarding the brand and products. The brochure needed to follow brand guidelines and must be neutral with accents of the green from the logo.

Beauty Works

At Beauty Works one of my main tasks is to create marketing material for Instagram. The instagram stories need to fit the brand identity however they need to vary so that the customer does not get bored of seeing the same content day in and day out. I try to animate most of the stories to make them more eye-catching.

Beauty BLVD

I freelanced for a beauty company who needed frequent homepage updates for sliding banners and CTA’s. They wanted to use imagery from the shoots they had done and create fun, feminine and eye-catching designs. The banners needed to be dynamic across different devices. All imagery is optimised for web and SEO friendly to increase traffic to the site.

A selection of slider templates I created for a Black Friday Event. The style needed to be consistent but dynamic so that it could be adapted for each brand.

Beauty Works

The website needs regularly updating with new imagery from shoots and new products when they launch.

To ensure the website is recognisable to customers the homepage follows the same layout which adapts between desktop and mobile to optimise user experience.

All imagery is optimised for web and SEO friendly to increase traffic to the site.

 BRAND DEVELOPMENT

Beauty Cutie

The brief was to create a full brand identity and roll-out for a new hair salon and beauty company.

The client wanted to create a fun, girly brand. The name Beauty Cutie was chosen and I helped develop the logo.

Once the logo was completed the client wanted to make use of the lips in the logo to create a recognisable brand icon. This was rolled out onto the company car, price lists, business cards, launch party invites and more.
